YOUR INPUT NEEDED!!
The Washington County / Johnson City Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is developing a new Mitigation Plan for all of Washington County, Tennessee. Currently a draft document is being prepared and the EMA would like your input. The goal of the Mitigation plan is to identify hazards faced by Washington County, solutions to reduce or eliminate the impacts of these hazards, and finally a method to implementation these strategies to implements these mitigation efforts. These efforts range from educational programs to possible property relocation projects.
The Washington County / Johnson City EMA is the lead agency for developing the Mitigation plan, however, the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is working with the EMA to coordinate public input. Please contact the Washington County / Johnson City EMA for your input to the plan.
