County Mayor - Dan Eldridge

Eldridge is serving his first term as Washington County's chief financial officer.
The County Mayor is chairman of the County Commission and chief financial officer of the county. He has care and custody of all county property. He has the power to appoint department heads, subject to confirmation by the County Commission.
His staff is paid out of the general fund. The County Mayor interacts with other county officials in almost every area of local administration, including investment of county funds, county health and care of the Poor.
